With the recent sprout of news and controversies regarding the substandard quality of goods manufactured by the China wholesale industry, many are beginning to wonder whether the manufacturing giant is now nearing its end. However, as life goes on day by day, people, now on the lookout for China-manufactured products, are now more aware than ever before of the significance of China wholesale products in their lives. At this point, the question then becomes a graver one, which poses a lot of negative implications on everyone: Can we handle it if the China wholesale empire falls?
There have been many recent reports and complaints about the quality of products that came from China that endangers the lives of consumers. In one case, reports were filed about food products that have been drenched in pesticides, or contained cardboard fillings. There have also been complaints about unsafe toys that can negatively affect the health and lives of children. One such example are the dolls that have a high level of lead content in the paint that was used. Medicines manufactured and sold in wholesale from China are now also receiving doubts.
Despite these never-ending reports, cargo ships continue to dock in countless ports, bringing wholesale from China. The country also counters the reports and complaints by responding defensively to the matter. A top official who was reportedly receiving bribes were executed, and around five hundred exporters were blacklisted. China has released official statements regarding the issue, assuring both the domestic and foreign population who patronizes their products that the China wholesale goods are still safe to buy, use, or eat. They have also strengthened the regulations surrounding quality-checking of the products that are exported. China is now planning to spend over one billion dollars to improve food and drug safety. China officials have said that they have laid out a five-year plan, which includes plans to build a new laboratory where the products that will leave the Chinese shores will be examined with great care. However, none of these could appease the sudden outbursts of intents to boycott China products.
This, however, does not seem to affect the empire that much. Yes, they have been responding, but they are in no way crumbling. Perhaps they also know what most of us are already aware of. It is definitely possible to boycott China products, but there is no way to stop the free flow of goods coming in wholesale from China. And even as some people start boycotting the products, how far can they really go?
